5th grade math

In 5th grade math this year we have learned about decimals, order of operations, and factors and multiples.

We get to do all kinds of fun activities, like high roller, adding and subtracting, card games etc. There are also boring things like scan-tron, benchmark, the C.R.C.T, etc, but it's not that bad to me.

I don't like home work that much but its OK. Some people love homework.

So that's what 5th grade is learning in math.

  1. My experience has been that either people love math or they don't like it at all :-). Some of it will be fun - puzzles, games, etc. and some things will be tedious (or boring). All of it is important, though, because you WILL use it all throughout your life. Homework is your practice to make sure you understand it and know what quesions to ask the next day. Practice makes permanent, you know!
