Blogging by Caleb

Hi, my name is Caleb. I am going to talk about blogging! In blogging, you get a chance to type about anything. You can blog about your school year, about your weekend, book fair, field trip, favorite book, coming up events, rehearsal, moving to a new house, and holidays. After that, you get a chance to put a picture along with your paragraph! If you are in the fourth grade, you should join the blog next year. I bet you going to have a blast!

All About Me by:ARIANA

My name is Ariana. I am in the 5th grade. My homeroom teacher is Mrs.Stokes. I have been a student in Chase Street for about 4 years and 3 months. One thing I like about 5th grade is that you get to do some fun experiments. One thing I don't like about 5th grade is that you have to do a lot of tests. Something I did over the summer was having a lot of parties with my friends. Something that's interesting about me is that I like spending time with my family and friends.

Book clubs ( Moon Over Manifest) by Brighton

Today is book club day. I am reading the book Moon Over Manifest. So far it is pretty good. Although I had to read it all last night! The book is about a girl who has to go to a town called Manifest because her dad is working on the railroad. She stays with a guy named Shady, and on the first night that she was there she found a Lucky Bill cigar box. It has letters, gadgets, etc. In the letters, it brings up something about a spy, but I don't want to spoil it for you. Anyway it is pretty interesting. I wonder what my book club has to say about it.

Disaster Strikes by Caleb

Hi, my name is Caleb. I got a book called Disaster Strikes. It is a very good book, and the characters are Dylan and Fiona. The book is about an earthquake destroying the road. Their dad was on the way home from work and the road started to shake. Dylan got caught in the earthquake and he called Fiona.  Fiona  helped Dylan to get out of the earthquake. Next time when  book fair comes up, I think you should get the book called Disaster Strikes, and it's ONLY for $5.00!

Georgia lost to Florida By Julian

Last Saturday, Georgia played their bitter rivals the Florida Gators. Georgia was coming in ranked number nine in the AP polls and 11 in the college playoff standings. Coming into the game, we were a 13 point favor over the Gators, but midway through the 1st half we knew it was going to get rough. In the game Nick Chubb, the replacement for predicted Heisman running back Todd Gurley, had 156 yards and a touchdown. At the end of the third quarter, Florida was lining up for a field goal. Georgia lined up in a normal formation, but when the ball was snapped, the holder Michael McNeely took the ball and went around left end. When the Georgia defense reacted to the play, it was too late, and Florida had scored. Georgia was predicted to have a brilliant season even without star quarterback Aaron Murray, but we lost to South Carolina which hurt us, then the loss to Florida which pretty much ruined our chances at the newly acquired College Football Playoff with four teams that play for the National Championship. This was a terrible loss to a terrible team. Hopefully we will not have the same result this week against the Kentucky Wildcats.
