Josh Gibson

Josh Gibson is an African American baseball player. He was born on December 20 in Buena Vista Georgia. He grew up in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Josh Gibson went to a vocational school and later attended Kansas State. He was the second African American baseball player to be accepted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. He also was one of the only African American baseball players to have a baseball card. Josh Gibson also hit 29 home runs in one game which is still a record today. But sadly thus baseball phenom died on January 21, 1947.
