Contest

Hi there! 

Today I'm going to write about something that we talked and wrote about in library. We are learning about global problems and what we could do to help those problems. You had to choose a worldwide problem like homelessness, people who can't provide their families with food or clothes, and one that I'm sure most of you know; GLOBAL WARMING. 

I chose the problem of sickness, and people who can't buy good medicines or pay for a doctor. We were then asked to choose a project that was either making an art piece or writing about your problem in an informational way or making a poem about it. 

We also were excited when we were informed that, by our choice, we could enter our project in a contest. Now, you might want to take into account that most of our class was extremely excited to the idea of a contest, so a chorus of profound gasps echoed along the walls. You could almost see light bulbs flickering over everyone's heads! Your project had to be creative and unique, so the gears started turning as ideas sparked towards the contest.
