Chase Street fifth grade went to Sandy Creek last week and it was awesome!!!
We went on a hike and saw all kinds of things, like mushrooms of all colors! red, orange, white, yellow, purple, and even a polka dotted one!!! Some of the animals we saw were LOTS of daddy long legs, and we saw a beaver hole! It was so cool! I almost walked in to a spider web, but luckily some one saved me! Whew!!!
We also learned about microorganisms and made our own slides out of the pond water. They looked like a bunch of colorful squiggly lines.
We all had a blast at Sandy Creek!!! Thank you teachers!

ReplyDeleteI didn't know there were so many colorful mushroom varieties growing so nearby. How cool! Did you see all those white mushrooms that were growing in the Chase Street front yard a few weeks ago? Some of them were huge! Thanks for sharing about your fun trip!
