Monday, January 16, 2017 was a day to celebrate the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King. His actual Birthday was Sunday, January 15, 2017. He would be 88 years old if he was still alive today. Try to remember how hard he worked to get freedom for African Americans. He went to jail more than 30 times, not for bad reasons, just for marching and taking part in protests. Dr. Martin Luther King was a great man, and he never ever used violence to get what he wanted. Just remember how lucky we are for not having to go to separate schools or use separate water fountains.
