Georgia lost to Florida By Julian

Last Saturday, Georgia played their bitter rivals the Florida Gators. Georgia was coming in ranked number nine in the AP polls and 11 in the college playoff standings. Coming into the game, we were a 13 point favor over the Gators, but midway through the 1st half we knew it was going to get rough. In the game Nick Chubb, the replacement for predicted Heisman running back Todd Gurley, had 156 yards and a touchdown. At the end of the third quarter, Florida was lining up for a field goal. Georgia lined up in a normal formation, but when the ball was snapped, the holder Michael McNeely took the ball and went around left end. When the Georgia defense reacted to the play, it was too late, and Florida had scored. Georgia was predicted to have a brilliant season even without star quarterback Aaron Murray, but we lost to South Carolina which hurt us, then the loss to Florida which pretty much ruined our chances at the newly acquired College Football Playoff with four teams that play for the National Championship. This was a terrible loss to a terrible team. Hopefully we will not have the same result this week against the Kentucky Wildcats.
